I am SO excited to announce our next book - Fiendish Forge, which is currently being actively worked on!
Fiendish Forge is a Monster Manual/Magic Item Compendium hybrid - inspired by video games such as Monster Hunter - to bring big boss battle encounters to your tabletop. This book includes expanded rules on Carving and Crafting from our first book - with magic items themed after each main entry creature.
We're aiming to have 40 new creatures, each with at least 6 pages dedicated to them. This includes full descriptions, regional effects, stat blocks, a quest to introduce the creature, parts and materials you can gather from the fallen creature, and at minimum a 2 page spread of items themed after the creature!
We will be going ALL OUT on illustrations - each monster will have illustrations of them in their environment (not just the creature itself) - and every item and part will have full illustrations as well!
Some of the creatures will also include battle maps to inspire where you can fight them!
New mechanics introduced includes Bloodied rules, Creatures with multiple phases, reworked vulnerabilities to get the upper hand on a creature, and more!

Q: When is Backerkit Campaign Starting?
Our pending date is May, but we are waiting for the physical books of Why Slay Dragons when you could be FINISHED to be manufactured. I don't want to start crowdfunding for another project until our last project finishes shipping out all of the physical goods! The date on the landing page is the earliest we are going to start it, but we may delay the start date for later.

If you do not have access to your Digital PDF - it is because you have not finished your survey yet - or you have preordered physical goods on Backerkit and have an outstanding charge. We have not charged individuals for those items yet - as our current ETA for shipping out everything is May/June. While we have the full intention of still releasing these items, I didn't want to charge you guys for something that was still a few months out. HOWEVER, if you wish to receive your Digital PDF now - and don't mind being charged for physical goods now, you can DM me and we will get that straightened out for you!

Why Slay Dragons : PDF Ver 1.02 Out Now

Wanted to let you know we have released a new version of Why Slay Dragons when you could be FISHING. This had some minor tweaks, but the biggest update was to the file size - since some folks were having a hard time opening the PDF. We've been able to lower the size to about 43 MB.

If you still haven't received the PDF - more than likely, you got physical add-ons from Backerkit. As a heads up, physical goods are currently aimed to be shipped out in May/June. If you would like your PDF now, you will need to be charged now for any add ons you may have received through Backerkit. If you were a Kickstarter Backer, please message me through Kickstarter to get this sorted out.

Howdy folks,
We have publically released our first Digital PDF - Why Slay Dragons when you could be FISHING!
We've made some minor updates to the original PDF, mostly spelling/formatting corrections - as well as some clarifications with subclass abilities. You can access this update through Backerkit Distribution - simply re-download the file.
If you still haven't received your PDF - please message me so I can see what is up. More than likely, I will need to charge for physical products that will be coming in the future (current estimation is May/June, but no guarantees for unforeseen circumstances).

Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is enjoying the Digital PDF! This has been a labor of love, so seeing the PDF enjoyed by so many is exciting.
I wanted to let you know that we will distribute an updated PDF this Wednesday. This will include resolutions to typos or errors discovered before our public release. Thank you for your feedback!
Right now, here are the errors we know of we will be resolving:
Wizard Abilities on Pg 37 will be listed Wizard (School of Schools)
Extra Proficiencies for Paladins on Pg 30 will be listed as Paladin (Oath of the Admiral)
Page Numbers will be fixed and reflected accordingly
Typo fixed in Circle of the Tides Feature Table
Embertail will correctly identify (Raccling Kin)
If you find any other errors, DM me, and I will add them to the list to resolve before Wednesday! I want to ensure you get as close to a pristine product as possible - especially before printing.

Be sure to check your e-mails, as you should have received a download link to our Digital PDF for Why Slay Dragons when you could be FISHING!
Day 1 Backers, we are still working on the Day 1 PDF, that will be out in a short time - and we will announce when we are releasing it (should be before we ship out physical products).
Physical products are still being manufactured, and will have more news on that when it comes.

Did not get your PDF?: You may not have completed your Backerkit Survey. You must complete this before receiving your Download Link to the Digital PDF.
Backerkit Preorders: If you have preordered the PDF ONLY - your card will have been charged, and you should have received the link. However, if you ordered other items besides the Digital PDF, you have not been charged yet, and will not get the link. I did not want to charge our preorders until everything has been manufactured and we are close to shipping (since we're still looking at a couple of months out). If you want your Digital PDF now and don't mind being charged for everything while waiting a few months for what you've ordered, feel free to message me, and I will do so - so you can get the PDF!
